Nexus blinking off randomly

Have 2013 Nexus 7 running 5.0.2. Lately, when I am on Chrome, the page will blink off to a black page. Then I have to go to my recent open apps and pull it up from there.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening or how I can fix it? Thanks!
