i followed How to Root Nexus S! to root device, its my first time trying to root it..i followed every step but after going to recovery screen it says reboot device the phone is stuck on the google screen with padlock on the bottom...i tried go to download mode to re flash software still doesn't work...any help would be appreciated

yes

i actually found a software to reflash it..had some probs putting it into download mode but eventually it did and reflashed it.... you have suggestions in rooting device??
