Nexus clicking on its own when unlocking

Hello, I don't know if there's a thread about this but my nexus 7 clicks on its own when I wake it and unlock it. It just keeps clicking until I put it to sleep, then wake it and unlock it again to make it stop. Its nothing too bad, its just annoying I have to do those steps every time I want to use me tablet

Any ideas?

When it does something weird of out of the box, I usually do a factory reset. May be worth a try.

Thank you I will give that a try, it shouldn't be that much of a fuss either since Google play keeps a list of my apps.

Mine clicks once when I wake it and unlock it, and once again when I put it to sleep. It sounds almost like a camera shutter. I don't remember it doing this when I first got it 10 days ago.

I think that's just the default sound, its supposed to do that.

Mine on the other hand, keeps clicking after I unlock it, I can see it clicking on its own because it opens apps until I lock it, then unlock it again...

Edit, I guess that's because I don't actually lock the screen, I have it set so pressing the button just suspends it and then pressing the button again wakes it up. I don't see the need to have to do something else when I want to use it.
