Nexus Default Wallpaper Washed Out

I'm sure I'm the only person that has noticed, but the Nexus graphic that is being advertised with the default wallpaper looks crystal clear. When I set the same wallpaper on my phone, it looks all washed out. Attached the pic from the Verizon site.

Are you looking at it on the lock screen or on the actual home screens?

Mine looks washed out if I have my brightness too low.

On auto everything looks a little off.....up the brightness and it livens up.
