Nexus one PUSH and other stuff

I got a nexus one last week, im trying to see how good it is, so far i love it but i see some shortcomings and i well, I came here looking for your comments and help.

1) do we have push? how do we get it working?

2) what about cyanogen mod? can you please tell me pros and cons over stock froyo?

3) keyboard input, i want to improve this, i can type faster on my old iphone, what could give me that speed and performance im looking in the keyboard?

Yes you can have push emails, just set up your emails client.
You can also use the Gmail app for Gmail

I'm running CyanogenMod and it's a lot better than stock, can't say there's any cons

There's a few keyboard that's pretty good, just have to play around, I like Swype

Thnx man, can you tell me what method did u use for rooting? im really scared of this as i read somewhere one could brick nexus one by not using the froyo radio or something.

can you please tell me how did u do it?
