Nexus One Rom installation aborted..please help

I have unlocked the bootloader using fastboot, and rooted the phone using superboot. Everything seems to work ok, ad I can get to recovery mode, and click on flash sip from sdcard. I have the zip file in there but I am getting the following error:

E: No signature (1755 files)
E: Verification failed
Installation aborted

I am new to this and need help. Thanks

You can recovery your Nexus One come back to factory setting and update it. I think it can go. I already updated into Froyo, it's good.

Who's ROM? Make sure it is for N1 not dream/sapphire etc.

Name it "update" no quotes.

Wipe data, cache, dalvik.
