Nexus sitting under our tree..... it's KILLING me

So my wife ordered me a Nexus on Thursday and it wasnt supposed to be delivered until Monday (regular 2 day shipping) but low and behold it was dropped off today by FedEx.............the only problem............she wrapped it and it is sitting nicely under our Christmas tree.

I don't know if I can handle this for a week!!!

Maybe by the time I get to use it, they will have updated it yet again to address the low signal/low volume issues?!?!?

Unwrap it when she is out of the house, take the phone out of the box and rewrap the empty box. Just make sure you have some of the same wrapping paper in case you rip the paper unwrapping it.

Use your phone secretly and then unwrap/rewrap again to put it back in the box the night before Christmas.

I got my Nexus for Xmas but I didnt have to put it under the tree. Started using it at 1130 the day it launched YAY! but then again she got her cookware and dollhouse already too

I'm not a very formal person, so in situations whether it is a birthday or etc... I suggest opening the present. As I tell my SO, for all I know I might be dead next week.

If my wife got it for me for Christmas I would get it opened right away. What's the worse that will happen she will be upset for a day. Me and my wife do our gifts the night before so its all about the kids on Christmas. See if you can exchange a week early. Better have gotten her something nice

As for me, even though I am wanting to tear that thing open, I am also alright with waiting....... I have a 6 year old and 3 year old so I have to pretend to be surprised when I see what "they" got me! They obviously have no clue that I know I am getting it. They just keep telling me they cant wait to see my surprise.

So until then I will "live" with this iPhone 4s.... thanks for all the great ideas though!!
