Nexus4, sudden signal loss after flashing rom

I'm sorry to say this, but welcome to the repair center. You really have no choice at this point, it's beyond what you can do and what I can think of. It's efs for sure, and that's not fixable. You'll have to send it for repairs, and hope they do something. Otherwise, you're out $300. Efs comes from the factory, it can't be remade. It's a special folder specific to your phone, with all of your identifying information such as imei and the code to read information from the sim card. I'm sorry man, it must suck to be in this position

Have you checked your apns as I suggested? Specifically you want to check if your MNC is set to 00. This bug that creates malformed apns affects only certain carriers in certain countries that use 0 as MNC. I would at least rule this out. I found a post that details this and has links to the Google bug trackers:

Upper thread he checked his apns, they are set to his specific carrier like before this occurred. That was one of the first things we checked. Also, his phone number is unreadable from the sim card, which is a phone issue. His phone number reads "disconnected".

Sorry, I don't see a post where he says he checked apn. What post number is it in? It won't take but a second for him to verify his MNC. From what I read, the phone would still show carrier name, just not function. It doesn't hurt to eliminate as many possibilities as possible, especially since at this point he has no solution or even has a definitive cause.

It was post number 7. But his phone number is unreadable, it should be able to be read from the sim card because that information is stored on it. It just reads "disconnected". That's more of a problem than apn, but at this point I guess it wouldn't hurt to check

Dude, there's nothing that can be done at this point. We have tried everything. You HAVE to send it in for service at this point, there's no other choice.

Do you think that Google can fix it without any cost? Do you think the warranty will cover this?

They might wonder why this occurred, but yeah they probably will replace it. You just need to make sure it has no trace of being rooted. For the nexus 4, I think all you need to do is be completely stock. So yeah, they probably will replace it free of charge

Just a warning though, it goes through LG's service center. People have complained a ton about them. You will probably have to keep calling and whine but you will get a new one sent out at a decent time if you bug them enough
