Somehow this question pop up in my mind.
Samsung Galaxy S4 has NFC tech. and so does HTC One and Nokia Lumia 920 Windows.
I was wondering whether you can send photos, files from let's say the s4 to HTC or Windows phone via NFC
Can you bump 2 different phones together and share files via NFC???
I mean galaxy phones no problem but Samsung to HTC via Beam... with the "ping" sound effect.....
pls.. don bring up crapple

Thanks in advance for answering

You should be able to with the most other Android phones , as long as it has nfc and Android beam(which I think is part of ics and up)

I'm not sure about with Windows phone. You should be able to, I don't know anyone with a Windows phone to test it out.

And no need to mention the other company since their phone doesn't have NFC

I think you need not only NFC enabled, but Android Beam as well... So I don;t think a Lumia would work.

I have transferred between a Nexus 4 (LG) and a Galaxy S3 (Samsung). without problems.

I watched it on youtube... and I found out that you can share stuffs from HTC Windows via NFC to Nexus and of cos... vice versa
Can't wait to buy a new phone!!!

I've got two questions, what bluetooth version is on the HTC One and, I noticed on HTC's website that under the HTC One's features tab it says that it does not support NFC. Can anyone shed light on either one or both of my questions? Thank you in advance.
