My NFC/Sbeam always auto turn off. The settings change themselves. Im not sure if it does it automatically if my battery gets low or switching between launchers or something. But everytime I go to use NFC its turned off. Does anyone else have this issue? Any input would be awesome thanks.

Fyi im using Verizon SGN2

My s beam turns off automatically, but not the nfc... try turning nfc on without turning s beam on.

same problem. Verizon note2. I've called Verizon and complained but nothing from them. i don't think it's battery because mine justturned off again and I'm at 80%.
i thought initially it was because i was switching between nova launcher, launcherpro, and others, but I've been running stock touchwiz for two months (boo) and just started having nfc and sbeam turn off on their own.
my advice: try sticking with your favorite launcher for a few weeks and see if it turns off. i used widgetsoid and put a switch on my home screen for nfc so i can see when it's off, so at least i don't try to use it only to find out it's off.

Wedon't seem to be the only ones as a Google search produced several results of people with this problem but unfortunately no solutions.

With the 4.1.2 update with customizable notification menu Its less of an annoyance. I just movrd both nfc and sbeam there.

I just tested this, it is from TURNING YOUR PHONE ON AND OFF. If you turn on s beam, then turn the device off, when you turn it back on the s beam will in fact be OFF.
