They added NFC. The international version does not have NFC.

GB did not have that capability. ICS does.

It definitely works on the ATT GNote I used Android Beam with my GNote and SGSIII. I wish the GNote had S Beam like the SGSIII. Maybe a future update?

I used my ATT GNote freshly updated Wednesday to the ICS upgrade - back to back with the GSM GNex freshly upgraded on Thursday to Jelly Bean, using Android Beam and it works as advertised, just as Planoman states as well.

You have to turn on NFC and Android Beam (the settings for which are under SETTINGS - MORE and NFC and Android Beam are right there, one on top of the other).

Now if I can just get Scotty to beam me up!
