Just tried launching NFL mobile app and it says you have to be a Verizon wireless customer and I hit close and it exits the app. What the heck??!!

You need to make sure you have the My Verizon app and their sign on engine installed. Once you've logged into My Verizon it should work fine.

This is happening to me. Running cleanrom, have nothing frozen. Nfl and My Verizon app keep erroring out with error codes 300 and 303. This is going to be an issue as i very much depend on the nfl app.

Reloaded the rom, but more importantly I flashed the rpm and modem files and now my Verizon services work.

No problems running NFL app on CleanRom 5.5.1.
I made sure had the vzw login client install first is all

My Verizon apps aren't working either. I sign in view my data usage, close out the app then click my data widget and it says my username isn't recognized and I have to sign in again. What do you mean you reflashed the rpm and modems?? Not sure what that is.

Yep, my issue must have been not flashing the rpm and modem zips. It's been a few years since I had android and those were not around back in my DROID Inc days,

Well I am not on clean ROM, I am on slim bean ROM and not sure where to even get those files!

Some ROMs have the option to change the Carrier ID, example on your notification pull down or lockscreen it will usually say somewhere " Verizon" or " Sprint " , etc your carrier.. If that is changed for customizing or by the ROM dev that can cause a carrier specific app not to be recognized/authorized to run.

I never changed mine. It still says Verizon wireless.

Get them here:

[ROM] Stock, Root, Deodexed JellyBean Official OTA [I535VRBLK3] - xda-developers

These aren't specific to CleanRom, they are specific to Jelly Bean on the vzw sgs3. In recovery, I did a full backup, wiped cache, factory restore, wiped dalvik, then flashed the rom, then the modem, then rpm. Now vzw nfl and MyVerizon mobile apps work just fine after I downloaded the verizon MyLogin app from the play store and entered my info. What you were describing about logging in and not recognizing your credentials was exactly what was happening to me before I flashed the rpm and modem zip files in recovery. I have zero idea what those files are for, but I flashed them and now those two verizon apps work perfectly.

Wow well thanks for linking me to the files. I just don't feel like doing a factory reset! I will try it though and hopefully it works!

So just wipe cache/dalvik and then install files?

Didn't work :( looks like I will have to do a full wipe ugh

I fully wiped phone twice and still not working :( I flashed two different ROMs too so I can see if it was the ROM. You got lucky! This sucks.

So you wiped the whole thing, flashed the new Rom then the rpm and modem files then wiped everything again, then downloaded the Verizon login app?
