Night/dark mode in apps

Why doesn't Google include a night/dark mode in there apps? Apps such as Google Play Newsstand could definitely use it.

I think there is no need f dark night mode in google app. If you think that it should be then explain benefit of this functionality.

It makes it easier to read at night because it puts less strain on your eyes. And, in some cases, dark mode just looks good.

Assuming you mean "Night mode" as in the AC app i totally agree, plus it saves battery.
