Last year, I smashed three phones. Yeah, I'm talented. So, my husband bought me a No.1 M2. This phone claims to be drop proof, spill proof, crack proof, dust proof, you name it. He checked the band to make sure it was the same as my provider and ordered it. One month later, voila! My nice, shiny phone arrived in the mail from China.
Except I've got some problems.
1) Verizon is saying that even though the bands are right, they won't turn on my service because the IMEI is wrong. Rumor has it that it can be edited, but I'm not sure of the legality of it. Though, of course, I've got at least a couple of my own from smashed phones.
2) The phone isn't recognizing more than one gig of the memory even though it's got six or eight on board. It's partitioned and the rest is verboten.
3) Even though we fixed up the settings so things go to the SD card, nothing is getting saved to the card and I'm out of space. I've got a few small apps that my husband put on and the rest of the crap on the phone was preinstalled.
ANYWAY!! I'm without a working phone and I'm gonna rip my hair out soon!!!
Thanks,
Sandra
P.S. I'm not sure when it will be able to upgrade to Lollipop.
