No 4k option on Youtube.

I cant see a 4K option when watching a 4k Youtube video the max i can get is 1080 am i missing something ?

If the video upload isn't in 4k, you won't get that option to watch. Besides, 4k viewing on such a small screen is pointless. It's unlikely you'll see any difference between it and 1080p anyway.

What screen resolution have you set the phone at? If you left it in Smart Resolution to save battery then the phone will always default to 1080P, you need to set it to WQHD+ if you want Higher Res.

Which is probably why we'll be seeing 8k phones (screens and cameras) in a year or two). It's a great selling point, as Apple used to say in their ad about Windows, unless you think about it.
