No 5g Options! Note 20 ultra

I reached out to Samsung and my provider (Xfinity Mobile-VZW Network) with no success but I have no 5G connectivity whatsoever and no option to turn it on or off.

I've seen posts mentioning a toggle switch within the menu, people have the option to select a 5g inclusive mode under the mobile networks option, but I don't have any of that.

Is there a secret menu ie dial **12345** etc ?

Samsung techs told me to take it into a shop to diagnose but the closest one is 75 miles away.

Oh and I recently traveled to Los Angeles ca, Phoenix AZ, the SF Bay Area, all huge urban areas with plenty of 5G towers (confirmed with multiple people using 5g on Verizon, attention, and metro pcs/tmobile. Not once did I EVER get 5g, only 4glte+

Something has to be wrong.

I believe Verizon supports the MMWave 5G and if it's not in those areas you probably won't see 5G from Verizon

Did you check your precise location on their 5G coverage map? Their website: "Now with 5G, available only in parts of select cities".

Some network's allow the settings to turn Off 5G and some don't unfortunately.

I was in a 5g zone in LA and Phoenix when I was traveling. I checked the maps to be sure. This device is paid off, I'm thinking of just saying screw xfinity after 60 days so I can unlock and flash tmobile firmware and just port to them. Its so ridiculous. Idk man. I expected too much for a 1000$ phone, kind of wish I wouldn't have bought it outright.
