If you're using the native Android apps it isn't an issue.

I don't believe this has anything to do with the native email app that allows you to get email from an Exchange server. This only affects folks who use EAS to get email from Google. iPhones used to be setup like this as they didn't support native Google sync.

Supposedly this will only affect non-Android Devices. Native Android is not supposed to be affected by this.
