No alarm on reminders....

...that are made using Google Assistant. I have a Pixel 2 and am using Android 8.0.1. If I make a reminder using the Google Calendar app the alarm works fine. When I make a reminder with Assistant it shows up on my Google Calendar.

I've tried everything I can think of and screwed things up so bad I did a factory restore. Now, no alarms for reminders made by Google Assistant.

Yes. I also have the default notification sound selected. That's what plays when a reminder I type into my calendar app arrives. It's just reminders set with Assistant that don't announce.

If I asked Google Assistant to show me my reminders it shows me those typed into the calendar and those set by speaking to Google Assistant but when the times arrive those typed sound and those set by Assistant are silent.

Setting reminders is my most often used and most valuable use of Google Assistant. Hey, I'm 67 and forget a lot of thing like water boiling on the stove.

Thanks. Mine worked on my Pixel. I lost it when I went to Pixel 2. I can't imagine how it would be a hardware issue.

I don't think it's hardware, however I don't see where there is a separate setting for calendar or GA reminders. I'm on a 2xl

I've seen a similar problem. Reminders set via Google Assistant will fire an alarm and notification but if I snooze the reminder, I'll usually only get the alarm (in my case a quick vibration since my phone is always on vibrate). This happens maybe 9 times out of 10. I won't see an accompanying notification. However, my Android Wear watch will display the reminder notification. I've tried unpairing my watch to see what happens but it's the same.

This is disappointing for sure and greatly reduces the utility of this feature.
