No "As items arrive" option in Mail?

I'm using Yahoo mail and not seeing an "As items arrive" option for downloading. I don't get many e-mails so this would help my battery out, and I know I was able to do it on my Pre. Anyone?

Not possible with the default Mail client. I suggest getting K-9 Mail (free in the marketplace), it will allow you to do this. It's what I do, as a previous Pre user.

What about gmail. Is that push?

Yes. You can import your yahoo account in to gmail and get push that way
