No audio on brand new Lenovo 8" Smart Display?

I can't get any audio/sound out of my new Lenovo Smart Display, even though it's otherwise correctly updated and setup with my Google account.

I've seen other reports of this on Lenovo support forums, but thought I'd ask here if anyone else has experienced this. It could be just a defective unit requiring replacement.

This sounds like a defective device. You should call Lenovo Support and see if they can replace the device with a new one.
