no auto awesome for Xperia Z2?

Okay, so it seems I have no auto awesome or movie functionality in Google photos on my Xperia. I asked Google and they said not all phones have the functionality. What a swizz!

Open Google + and select photos or the Google photos icon. There should be a little clapperboard at the top. The isn't on the Z2.

hi.

i miss this little clapperboard icon on my sony xperia z2
on my xperia z1, i had no problems, there was this
icon. now on my z2 there is only a + instead of this clapperboard
and i can make a picture collage or a gif animation, but i want to create some
auto awesome clips of my videos and pictures .. i there a solution...???

iam looking forward for any solutions / tips, maybe similar apk?s

For some reason, the photos I upload to google plus aren't getting auto-enhanced. This used to happen automatically with my old phone (Note 2). I haven't changed anything in my google plus settings (auto-enhance "normal" is still selected in the google+ settings webpage (i.e not in the app)).

Any ideas?

Z2 does NOT have full auto awesome for some bizarre reason

Yup after over a month, confirmed, the only new auto awesome pics I get are those I take occasionally with my One.

I am getting the auto enhance though, just not auto awesome.

Stories seem to be less frequent too, but that might be due to taking fewer pics the last couple of weeks due to work load lol

That's so random that it doesn't have this feature. Considering the Z2 is the latest handset from Sony you would think these things come as standard now!! I was waiting out for a Z3, but now I might reconsider it.

That's crazy - i only get auto-enhance for videos, not photos. I actually ONLY want them for photos and not videos (though there is no way to configure this)

I'm surprised some people are getting auto-enhance for photos as I've never, ever got this on my Z2.
