I can not get music to play via bluetooth in my cars. When I go to the bluetooth setting there is no option for media audio. I have a gs5 with lollipop. The cars I am trying are 2010 Chevy Traverse and a 2012 Chevy Cruze. Is it the car bluetooth? I found on my search where it looked like others have been able to do it on these vehicles.

Your cars should be blue tooth capable. Find the app in your menu settings and set to discover, and let your phone connect. My 2014 Silverado pairs and plays just fine.

My phone connects and work for phone just can not play music. When I go to settings it shows phone audio but does not show media audio.

I suggest selecting both cars in your phone's Bluetooth settings and remove them. Re-pair the phone with your cars. You have to set your cars' stereos into pair mode and normally that involves a code sync of some kind (either you make sure the codes match or you have to enter the code on your phone). Also make sure that you set your car's input to Bluetooth audio. My fiance's Ford Escape is paired with her phone and her Note 4 will only say "phone audio" under Bluetooth settings. It isn't until her car's audio input is switched to Bluetooth device that the "media audio" option will be available.

I will try to delete and repair. I don't see a bluetooth audio input on my radio only aux xm cd am fm no bluetooth.

I'm having the same problem in a new Ford Ka. Very annoying - only getting Phone Audio. I'm now wondering if it actually doesn't support this which is silly given how easy it would be to implement.

Any1 find a fix? My S5 was working just find with my Sonata 2015 until about a month or so ago. I connected it, I had the media audio ticker under the options, and all the sudden I tried to play a new song, & there's NO option to connect my media audio under the settings. I have another bluetooth an LG, that Does have the option for media audio & call audio.... (Also, I just deleted the cache partition with no change). PLEASE HELP!!

I had a similar problem. Installed a cheapo stereo in Nissan March/Micra and worked very well. One day it connected but only to the phone, no media. I tried a few phones, Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, Huawei P8, P8 Lite all had the same issue. This eliminated the phones. So I suspected the stereo but there was no way to reset it. I disconnected one battery terminal(in the car) and reconnected. I checked the phones again, all are now working!
