Just made the leap from iPhone 6 to Pixel. One feature I used all the time was iOS proximity reminder that triggered whenever the phone connected to my car's bluetooth. Perfect for reminders on the way to or from work. I've searched and cannot find any mention of an android equivalent. Anything I'm missing or any suggestions as to how this can be done?

Thanks.

What exactly are you trying to do? Apps like MacroDroid (pretty simple) or Tasker (very complex) will let you trigger all sorts of actions based on BT status.

Not exactly the same, but you can setup reminders to trigger based on location. Might be worth messing around with...

Thanks for the suggestions. MacroDroid works!

Not quite as elegant as setting a reminder in Keep and triggering on bluetooth connection, but workable. Tried it today and it triggered when I got into my car. Now I have cream for my coffee at work, lol.

Have to play around with MacroDroid as it seems quite flexible in what it can do. Another minor gripe about the Pixel is the automatic display dimming does not work at well as the iPhone. When set to a setting dark enough for bedside use, it doesn't ramp up the brightness enough for daytime use. I find myself always having to increase the brightness during the day, and then having to turn it down every night. I'll do this with MacroDroid now!

Thanks again.
