No books post 6.3 update + Root?

Ok anyone experience this and how do I fix it.
I was rooted with 6.2.2 and everything I purchased (books) would sync to my Kindle reader and Kindle Fire. Now after the 6.3 update and re-rooting under books on my Fire there is nothing at all. I have tried to hit Sync, rebooted. I deregistered my Fire, rebooted and re-registered and still nothing under books, which I have about 30 of.

Anyone experience this and know how to fix it?

Are you rooted stock, or have you flashed a rom? I'm using cm7, and the kindle reader from the google app store. All my books are available to download from the archive. Took me a while to learn to use it effectively with cm7, but now I am happy.
