No calendars, You have no calendars

When I click on the calendar app and try to add a new event a message comes up saying no calendars you have no calendars, I downloaded a calendar app from the market and it does the same thing, anybody else having problems with this?

I have the exact same problem myself. Just happened after my latest system update. Lost all the info I had stored on my calendar also, please help!
