No case note 8

I prefer not to use a case on any phone, but with the Note 8 I had to make an exception. I'm using a Patchworks case that is very slim but gives excellent grip.

I use a Spigen Ultra Thin case, excellent grip and has worked very well. Had the same on the Note 5.

I use an incipio case, had the same one on my s8+, phone is too slippery and expensive not to have it protected.

Absolutely. That's how I feel about my Pixel 2. It's beautiful but it's too expensive and smooth to not have it protected in some form or another.

I love the original look and feel of the phone but due to the phone getting hot on prolonged use and the fear of scratching the back or sides, I resorted to the Alcantara case. I love the feel and look of it so much, that I got two of it. I swapped it every couple of months. Got the black and grey colors. My Note 8 is black.

I have had mine in an Otterbox Defender, but like a previous poster mentioned, they stretch out if you remove them periodically. I decided to try one of my "back up cases" instead, so I put the Spigen on it. Dropped it two days later, cracked the screen from the impact of the edge of the device hitting the ground. $50 of insurance deductable and $25 of new Otterbox later, I'm back in the Defender. This time I got the blue one, which is a lot less drab than the black.

Which version do you have that get hot with prolonged use?
Is it gaming or VR use that makes it hot?

I have a OtterBox on my note 8 I would love to go naked with it but I already dropped it once and cracked the screen got a replacement and now I have an otter box case on it and it's in very good shape stll

Using J&D Thin case. It is dark blue and works great with the Note 8. Easy removal, really thin with all edge protection. One of the best I have ever had.

If you never drop your phone then don't worry about a case. I don't drop mine very often, but enough that I would worry about not having a case.

I don't drop mine often at all. Almost never. However, I was out of my element a few weeks ago staying at my brother's house out of town and had to put my phone in a different spot at night. When I reached to get it in the morning, it immediately slipped out of my hand and onto the floor, cracking the screen. This was the first time I've ever used insurance on myself. I use a thin case, for grip mostly.

A good skin would take the slippiness out of it but obviously not protect against drops, I use mine either naked or with a very slim rubbery type case, it has about a 1mm lip at top and bottom so I can still put the phone face down

Have a clear skin installed.

Used a case for the longest time until I removed the case recently.

I ma paying for the Samsung Premium Care so I am willing to take the risk.
