My Project Fi Nexus 6 phone today and I immediately ported my number over from AT&T and migrated my Android stuff over from my old Galaxy Note 3. Android and phone number migrated correctly (i.e. AT&T lost control of the number, Project Fi acquired it).
However, I am not getting cellular service nor VoIP, despite having a good WiFi connection. It seems that there is no way to manually force VoIP and Sprint is slow in recognizing my SIM. I spent all morning on chat with Project Fi tech support and they couldn't figure it out so bumped it up to next level, and I'm waiting for them contact my by email.
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to force VoIP or am I stuck without voice until next level tech support gets around to helping me?
What a lousy way to start off with Project Fi!
