No disable Option for apps

[AC Question]

I am using honors 5x phone, however I don't see disable option for any application(may not be system app), just see uninstall and force stop option, but no disable option. Also, don't see shake functionality to arrange the apps. Please help.

I am not able to disable any app, no 3rd party app also like splitwise, uber etc, that option itself is not there, very very surprised.

That's strange. I can do it easily on my 5X running Marshmallow. If you go to Settings>Apps and select Calculator, do you only see a Force Stop button? Remember that you can't Disable a 3rd party app -- it's only for apps that were preinstalled on the phone.

Thanks, that explains it, I was trying to disable 3rd party apps, should have been possible, what if the user wants tho disable it for some time, anyways thanks for the clarification

You can only uninstall 3rd party apps that you installed. If you use Greenify, you can "hibernate" an app, though, which is similar to disabling.
