Even though it has a setting to light up the screen when notifications come in, you have to set what apps that will give notifications on the lock screen. I have been getting notifications and I was wondering why my screen wasn't lighting up until I changed some apps to have notifications appear on the lock screen.

I had to make sure to share that, or else it wouldn't work.

Good to know, I like this approach as you can choose which apps you want to turn on the screen

The g5 is another option... The international unlocked one has fallen to $400 before... But no usa warranty.

I'll wait little bit. Also interested in the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, i like the SD 821 SoC.
