For various reasons, I had to delete then recreate my exhange/corporate account on my phone. Now, while I can send/receive email, I cannot sync my calendar app. All my existing events have gone (presumably because I removed my account).

Lots of advice online about the settings in the calendar showing a list of calendars to sync to -- such a list does not exist and all I get is my gmail.com account calendar.

I can confirm that I have followed numerous steps suggested by others none of which work including:

1. Turning off calendar sync in the corporate account, 'sync now', turn on syncing again, 'sync now'
2. Uninstalling calendar app upgrades and re-upgrading
3. Deleting the calendar storage ('clear data')
4. Trying other calendar apps such as aCalendar
5. Turning the phone off and on again ;)

and many others I have forgotten since I started on this quest a few days back.

Still, there is no option or setting in the calendar app for me to add the exchange calendar.

Yours with very little hair left . . .

some further information.

I’ve uninstalled the updates to google calendar so am now back at the original app that came with the phone. That at least now allows me to view the corporate account but, when I click on it to display calendars to import into the app, it says that there are no calendars.
