I get no GV Voicemail notifications. I reinstalled the app. I checked and unchecked the box for voicemail display in the call log. I have the notifications turned on.

I should note that I have integrated my Sprint phone number with Google Voice as well. Worked perfectly on my Nexus S 4G.

Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Android Central Forums

I have GV set to send me an email when I receive a voicemail and those come right through. I miss having the VMs integrated into the phone log like on my Nexus S.

I had the same issue you need to uninstall google voice and when you reinstall it make sure you uncheck show voicemail in call log, unfortunately samsungs touch wiz doesn't intergrate well with their custom dialer.

@dharbit, I did just that. It works, there is just a longer lag on notification that I have become accustomed to. I talked to a Sprint rep that said something about an update coming to fix this. He was pretty vague about it, but said it could be this week and was in final testing. Referenced a revision to 5.11, but I have no idea what he was referring to, as nothing related to this problem is close to a version 5.

That is one thing I miss about stock Android. Glad I could help.

@dharbit - Thanks for the info, it worked for me as well SGS3 on Verizon (VZW). I had to uncheck the Automatic Restore option from Back up and Reset as well, but now I can get notifications! Kind of a "must have" for voicemail messages. Thanks again!

I just unchecked "View and play voicemails from the phone call log" and it immediately started working. I did not need to uninstall/re-install google voice.

Thanks, this was all I had to do also and now, I'm getting my notifications again.
