No home button in chrome for android

This may be a silly question but I just got my XL yesterday is there no way to add a home button to chrome ?

Correct, making a new tab always defaults to that new tab screen - are you trying to set a custom home tab like a bookmark?

That new tab screen should have 6 or 8 most commonly used sites bookmarked right under the search bar. Another option is to use Zooper or another widget creator app to create a shortcut.
