No home button on S8

It's like suddenly someone comes along and says 'hey, see that sidewalk portion in front of your house? it's no longer the city's, it's all yours! Oh, but you can't do anything to it, it's has to remain a sidewalk. Maybe we'll let you paint it, but that's it! 'mkay, bye!' ¬¬

On screen button can be hide when watching video and playing some games? The space it occupies is not totally useless space

A home button was the only thing I didn't like about the Galaxy phones. Trust me. Once you use the on screen for a while, you get much more faster and efficient.

I agree. The only thing faster on my G4 compared to my Note 7 is returning to home screen from any app, due to the on screen button.

I just think that this is a great and bold move done by Samsung. I am a fan of on-screen navigation and I wanted to see how this one will differ to existing phones with on-screen navigations. It is always easier to tap than to push a button. There's a lesser force exerted. 😎

I always kind of preffered a physical home button but I'm open to the new ways of doing things so it's not a deal breaker for me

I would prefer a capacitive home button with fingerprint sensor built-in and the capacitive navigation buttons on either side. I dislke the on-screen buttons

With a fingerprint sensor on the back, yeah it makes sense when you're holding it in your hand, but NOT when it's mounted in your car.

Then that's when you utilize the iris scanner and facial recognition. Samsung is banking on those two to be quicker than the fingerprint scanner.

I would love a physical button but without the fingerprints. I dont want the CIa/FBI/NSA/hackers/you name it to have my prints
