No Inbox Notifications

Running the 8.1 beta on my Pixel XL and the Inbox /Gmail notifications stopped working the past few days. I still receive my Reminder notifications,, but no Gmail related notifications. I sent myself a message as a test, but no notification received. Anyone else having this issue? TIA

go into Gmail settings and check that notifications are enabled
