No lockscreen bamf gingeremix 2.1

i've been using the bamf gingeremix rom for the last few weeks and am loving it so far.

but i'm having a little problem now...today, when turning on the screen, i noticed there was no lock screen at all. just my background and the notification bar. no icons, etc...i can't do anything with it.. i tried doing a battery pull to no avail. any idea what else i can do?

the only thing i recall doing prior to this happening was uninstalling a program (chalk ball). strange that this would occur seemingly randomly..i had this rom installed and the only other modification was a new lock screen ring (which i installed weeks ago and have had no issues with). i'm using the mr2 radio.

Hmm, reflash the same Rom you are using. Wipe caches. Install.

thanks for the advice. problem is, how do i get into recovery to even do that?

when i turn on my phone, it just goes to a screen with my background and notification bar. no icons at all. no lock ring. pushing power button and volume buttons just turns the screen on and off? hmmmm

Power off. Hold vol down and power at the same time. You can get to recovery from there.

If I remember I had to do a factory reset in recovery. Im guessing reflash would work too.

yeah, i tried just clearing cache and davlik, which didn't help

then i did the above and reflashed rom...no help

i think i'm going to have to do a full wipe then reflash rom...ugh

That sucks. You don't have a nandroid backup of working rom?

nope, i had a nandroid of my previous rom before i installed this one. kept putting the nandroid of this one off..

ironically, a couple days a go, i thought to myself "it's about time to make a backup" :'(

full wipe worked, though hahah.

It's fun starting with a clean slate sometimes. Don't sleep on those nandroids.

I had the same issue with the same ROM on monday and today did the same thing again so im jumping to a different one.
