no longer get the options when i plug my phone to a pc

when you plug into a pc it would give me the pop up box asking if i wanted to charge, htc sync, disk drive, usb tethering and internet pass through. now that box doesn't pop up anymore when i first plug in. is there a way to get it back? in the settings i have the box checked to ask me when i connect but its not asking me. thanks for all help.

Assuming that you've tried simply rebooting your phone? You should also have (while it's plugged in) an icon on the notification bar. Try dragging it down and pressing on your usb connection, whatever that may be at the time. Once you have the option list down, uncheck the box that says "Don't ask again" when you make your choice. Let me know if this helps.

Try turning off fast boot, then restart the phone.

there was no icon thats what had me confused. but i did reboot my phone and now its working again.

I also had that problem once. I reset the phone and its working fine now.

Did you eve pull down your notification bar and select it that way? I know sometimes I would plug it in and the pop up box would not appear so I just pulled down and it showed my phone as charging, etc. You could then click that "running" task and the box would pop up allowing you to change it as you please. Next time try that.

You've downloaded the drivers for your device? I had to install HTC Sync to get the drivers before my Inspire would do anything with my PC.
