No media volume

This problem happened unexpectedly as I was watching a YouTube video. I didn't click on anything new and I didn't damage the phone in any way.

Symptoms:

1) No media volume, all other volume works
2) Media volume bar is suddenly half orange even though volume limiter is turned off
3) The problem continues happening in emergency mode
4) No issues were found by Avast
5) The problem fixes itself every few hours then reoccurs every few hours
6) I have reset the phone to factory settings
7) I have tried turning it off/on
