No messenger works when on mobile data

hello,
I bought huawei P8 just a week ago. I do not receive any notification whatsoever when not on WiFi. before I had Samsung Galaxy S3 and didn't have this issue, so it is not my provides setting (only change I made was SIM from micro to nano).
I have gmail account, hangouts, viber, whatsapp, facebook messenger and no notification.
I read the whole manual and haven't found an answer.
Does anyone have a clue what this could be?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you actually receive messages and emails over mobile data, but just don't get notifications for them?

No, when I open any of those messengers/gmail I'm not able to download new messages. Like it wasn't working on mobile data. Attaching screenshot where you can see that all my applications are OK'd for WiFi and Mobile data.

Does mobile data work at all? Are you able to surf the web on your browser using mobile data only?

yes. Browser, facebook...works without an issue. Just messengers don't. Here is a picture with viber screen when on mobile data...stil "connecting".

It may still be worth checking your APN settings and making sure they're correct. What carrier do you have?

I do have Orange Slovakia. I called them and they advised to insert new nano SIM card to old phone where it worked just fine. I'll do that tomorrow to find out if the issue is related to the SIM card or no(I hope that I haven't throw away the micro SIM adapter).

I solved it. I reset to factory settings and it works. After that I installed latest update and it still works. Looks like previous update install went bad. So all good now. thanks for helping me out.
