No More 4G hotspot?

I've flashed my radio to MR2 and flashed my Tom a couple times...I love all the roms I've had but none have the 4g hospot anymore. Anyway to get that back...I really need it. That was my main reason to root. I had with the mr1 radio with the stock froyo root.

Have you tried either CM7 or LTB??? I know both have Tethering & portable hotspots built in.

Ive used both but none offer 4g

None say 4G if you need it to say 4G, but they are hotspot... if you really want Verizon's 4G then go back to stock.

ROMs don't matter... you can download the android wireless tether app: wireless_tether_2_0_7.apk - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users 2.0.7 - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting

I recommend v2.0.7 in the link, as I had problems with the v3 beta.

edit: Yes, it supports 4G

just download the wifi tether app from the market... it wont show up with a 3g or 4g connection tho... you have to put ur phone in airplane mode, then connect to wifi and go to the market and the Wireless Tether app will be there...done
