No New Awesome Android Phones for Sprint

My friends are impressed how fast my Pre 2 runs and how I can launch organize and flick my apps away quickly.

The best things come to those who wait. Lol. I'm gonna stay till unlimited stops. I'm happy with my GS2 /E4GT! Sprint will dominate. LTE will be here soon! I hear you though. But just cuz they don't say nothing about the GNexus doesn't mean it's not coming...
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk & I'm not getting the GNexus.

crzycrkr,
I'm sorry that Dan Hesse is your boyfriend. But bashing on Sprint is not what im doing. I realize that my bill will be much cheaper on Sprint then any other carrier. But I really think they made enough mistakes to cause a lack of android devices for a year.

Yeah, yeah, we've been through this already in this thread for all to read. You conveniently left out half their Android lineup. Its very obvious how biased you are. One only needs to look at your other posts to see that, lol. Again, do us all a favor and move to Verizon so you can bash them in the summer when all Sprints new phones are coming out and Verizon is stagnant.

Except now the tech blogs are agreeing with me.

OMG! One tech blogger with a column called "Ask Maggie" says that Sprint is going to push the iPhone hard. Well no sh!t. So I guess Samsung, HTC and Motorola are just going to give up all those phone sale. I guess Sprint is just going to alienate every customer that doesn't want an iPhone. Seriously, what are you smoking? Its some good stuff. Every one of your posts here is bashing Sprint while ignoring the facts, so I say again, have fun on Verizon

Former webos fanboy and pre loyalist here.

The Palm Pre, Pre +, Pre 2 are the biggest pieces of @#$% hardware ever produced for a smartphone!!
And multitasking is great, but can it open apps in under 6 seconds?

Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

Let's face it, if you're a Sprint customer like me then you are probably sick and frustrated of hearing almost everyday how a new awesome Android phone is coming out on Verizon.

Sprint customers have heard nothing but crickets since the GS2 and how Sprint dumped too much money in the iPhone deal.

This is getting ridiculous!

You do don't want to go to Verizon unless you wanna lose unlimited data. Yeah they have awesome phones but that's it. Hate the data caps And sprint is getting the galaxy nexus soon.

The 3D, Photon, and SGSII are right there with anything Verizon has. Only thing Verizon has on Sprint is phones with keyboards n

Id say get the SGS 2 if stuck on sprint and then flash a ics build.. Cant go wrong with that.. ICS is dripping in awesome sauce... lol

I loved sprint because of their prices but their 3g data speed was abysmal and the 4g couldnt penetrate a wet paper bag. It also was spotty at best.. Verizons LTE is no joke! But data caps suck ball sack lol. Im fine with 4gb's though as I never went over that on sprint.. Probably because 3G was too slow but we will see.. IF sprint gets a really good LTE network I may come back but that was the reason I left.. When I went to the gym and couldnt stream pandora because of the lackluster speed and 4g wouldn't penetrate the building that was the last straw!

You need to remember though, it's all where you are. Always pick your carrier based on bow they are in your area. That said, I travel between NY, San Diego, and Chicago areas and have never had a single issue.

Your lucky... I travel too.. Sacramento, LA, San Diego and my 3g speeds were downright terrible.. 4g was cool when I could get it. But It was spotty at best.. And it doesn't penetrate buildings well at all due to the frequency they use... I want to see how their LTE solution will pan out but thats going to take a while.

I was in the speed toilet with these guys

i totally agree, sprint is fn killing me with these slow ass data speeds. I have found a solution but its going to be costly up front. Getting me an unlocked GS2 in white, and use it on ATT contract free (yep you can do that with unlocked/international phones), with unlimited data (yep another thing you can do with unlocked phones on ATT but that i am not going to share how, sorry). ATT may not have as good coverage as verizon but there coverage is better than sprint and there 3g/hspa+ speeds are faster on average then sprints 4g speed on a good day, if you talk to anyone with an hspa+ ATT android device (most there devices now are hspa+ capable) they average about 4-12mbs down (this is what tmobile is calling there 4g its just hspa+) which is very, very doable.

i was going to just go with verizon but thats a far more costly solution in the long run, and LTE is a huge battery hog.

was going to get the internation galaxy nexus but its 700 vs 550 for the GS2 and there is not that big of a difference since i can just put an ICS rom on the GS2.

unlocked is where its at.

The galaxy nexus just went down in price... Give me a second to post where I seen the international version for cheaper.

Ok, here you go

try using sprint in midtown manhattan at 4pm, and you will have data speeds comparable to dial up, and be lucky to get 4g to work, the 4g is so iffy, my phone will display 4 bars on 4g but it doesnt work reliably, i can do 5 speed tests in a row, and 2 out of the 5 come up with pathetic speeds, and this is pretty much anywhere in the north east, unless im standing under a tower. lol.. maybe its just me i do use my phone a LOT when its not my turn to drive.
