I ended up getting the N20U about a month ago from Samsung. Got a $450 trade in for the N10+. Ended up just paying off the balance. I'd be looking to upgrade when the next Note comes out, if it ever does. Figure the trade in for the N20U would be much better than the N10+ at that point. But who knows...

Do you see N20U any better than N10+?

I may be reading your post wrong but you were thinking of buying the Note 20U... but the absence of the microSD is a big setback?

But the Note 20U does have a microSD card. So you didn't have to downgrade.

Regardless the iPhone 12 is a great phone too. I rock an iPhone XR as my outdoor phone and think it's a great phone and learning and enjoying how it does integrate with my iPad Pro and M1 MacBook Air.

Yes, sorry, I wrote wrong. I was thinking of the Fold 2. Here where I live I only have Note20u with Exynos option and, as my Note 10+ is the Qualcomm one I found it being superior in some regards, so I don’t even consider this exchange.

I see it as an intermediate upgrade. Yes, it's faster, bigger battery, 120hz screen but nothing to me that screams WOW! this is a much better phone than the Note 10+. Don't get me wrong, I like it but I would have been happy with keeping the 10+ for another year.

Thats what I plan on doing. As soon as the new Note comes out. It's mine.

In the wake of no Note model this year I pulled the plug on my Note 10+ and got me a Note 20 Ultra 5g. Wow, what a machine. Highly happy.

I just did this last night. Got a good deal w trade in for my N10. It should be here in 2 weeks. Then the wait for the next Note begins.
I've heard there may not be a micro SD slot. If true, I fussed when they removed the hp jack, then moved on to wireless hps. So I will adjust as long as the rest is as wonderful as Samsung usually is.

Lucky for you all that can get all these store credits and incentives and whatnots. I live in Nigeria and if you need to get a new phone, you pay full price upfront.

Yeah in the US pretty good trade in and what not , but I have paid full price for devices so i know what you mean .

Quite surprised you saying that. When I served a T.O.D in that country things seemed/were quite a reasonable price.
