No NFC in the Evo 3D?

NFC is unimportant as its really a bad idea to begin with. To use it for payments would just be stupid as it would essentially leave everything opened to theft and not to mention you loose your phone and have no physical cards your double screwed. let apple have that garbage but yeah no kickstand sucks and why the downgrade in camera from 8 mg to 5? and the hdmi port should be on the bottom. Great the camera button is on the side.

Has it been confirmed that the phone won't have NFC? That guy who leaked a lot of info claimed it did... along with it having a built in kickstand & that the 5mp cameras would combine for 10mp shots. Anyways I believe there will also be a plug in micro SD card that gives older phones NFC abilities...

Do you have a link to that info? I think its apparant that either the guy was wrong, didn't know what he was talking about, or was using outdated info.

Yea it was BlueScreen from androidforums, his excuse for everything being wrong was that he received a prototype. But everyone there is calling him a troll.

By the time NFC becomes mainstream i'll be on the third gen Evo and hopefully it will have it by then if not...o'well i'm pretty sure i'll get over it. .

Sprint says its NFC-based payment service will launch this year, beat other carriers to the cash register -- Engadget

Seems that Sprint might want to to have its flagship phone equipped with its newest plannned technological solution. They still have time to integrate it if thay already haven't.
