no notifications on Verizon gear s3 frontier

I have restarted my phone and watch multiple times and selected all apps to try and get it to work but to no avail. It still will not show any notifications from my phone. Only every once in a while it will show my heart rate but that's it.

Go to settings, lock screen and security, other security settings, notification access and then make sure that the Samsung gear is enabled to access your notifications. That's probably the problem if it's properly connected.

All of those are done but I still only receive notifications sporadically, not every time I receive them.

On your phone tap on the Gear app>tap notification>check box next to the items you want to have notification receive on your watch
