No Notifications

This is my first tablet. I'm used to smartphones and their push notifications from FB, Twitter etc. Is that possible? Or is it only with cellular? I've had it less than a week and don't even knw if its cell capable but my wireless bill is enough so its wifi. So anyway can I get notifications on WiFi?

You can set up apps to notify you in the setting menu of that app (FB, Twitter, etc). I get notifications on my Xoom when connected to a wifi network.
