yup...it will show on the screen then, but also when the keyboard is attached and in use. I want to have onscreen keyboard when keyboard is folded back...and no onscreen when keyboard is in use. like the iPad

Same here, I wish they would think it through before releasing the cover. Last night working late I also noticed how much I got used to backlit keys ... feels so weird having to look for the keys in the dark.

I continue to be shocked by the poor design of the keyboard. Poorly tested with poor quality. Shame.

so this is real? i got mine today and was pleasantly surprised to see that the physical keys didn't work when the case was folded back so no accidental presses when holding it like a book.. but them I tried to type something and couldn't get the on-screen keyboard to come up.. I had to physically unattach the keyboard before it would pop up.. came here to see what was up, obviously there must be a software fix for this.. clearly the keyboard or the tablet can tell when it's folded back hence disabling the buttons so why not re-enable the onscreen?
