No pop up menu for app Note 8

Hi. On my note 8, I can't use long press on icons to get the list. With nova launcher, it worked on nova launcher but does not any longer. If I long press on an icon, it thinks I want to move it or delete it. Animation scale in develop. options is set to 0.5 and changing its value does not affect it.

Just a thought, but have you re-booted recently? Try a re-boot and see if it clears the problem.

double check that you have changed all three animation scale options in dev ops

I have checked and all of them are set to 0.5. I just rebooted my phone and still nothing.
One more information, when i first launched my phone after i bought it, this pop up menu worked. I installed a lot of apps after that, nova launcher too and then it stopped working.

If you are using TW launcher and dev. options speeds option off, maybe, that's the problem. So, you have 2 options in my opinion :

1) Turn on speed oprions in dev. menu

2) install another launcher, like nova launcher, and keep dev. options speed off

No. Like i said. Speed animations are set to 0.5. All three of them. I have never used my phone without animations.
