I seem to remember once the original Evo had been on sale for a week, HTC published numbers. Of course it was a qualified success.
I wonder why the lack of sales figures for the LTE almost 2 weeks on sale?
And STILL no widespread advertising. Samsung has 2 tv spots in regular rotation ahead of S3's release.

Samsung is a massive company.. You can't really compare what they do to HTC.

As far as the sales are concerned, the market conditions from when the original Evo was sold to today are completely different. Not sure it's in HTC's best interest to even release them now since compared to Samsung they don't stand a chance at impressing people.

I heard Samsung its now in the hand warming business over 3 million sold...:D

I had read 9 million s3's internationally. I'm pretty sure that was prior to the U.S. sales. HTC had a disappointing first quarter and unless they sold WAY more than projected, there is no reason to release any numbers.

They waited quite a while to release OG EVO numbers. There was a rumor a few weeks after release, but Sprint didn't release anything for a long time
