No recent pages option for internet browser.

I have an inspire and am having a problem backing out of a web page. The page obviously keeps redirecting to itself and won't let me go back. I can just go to my home page, but when I use the back button to try to exit the app, it just goes back to that page. If I press and hold the back button, it just takes me to the history page. I just want to bypass that page and go back to the beginning, then exit the app. I've already cleared my history, but that didn't help. I can do this action on my computer and IE by pulling down the recent pages next to the back button, and then select a page beyond that problem page. But I see no way to do that on my phone. Please help.

Some websites do that on purpose to keep you on their page. I've even seen it happ on my PC. If it's a site you visit regularly, there's nothing you can really do other than home. Otherwise, avoid that site.

Try hitting the back button in succession really fast. If that doesn't work, go to manage apps and force stop Internet. The next time you open the browser, it will open to the home page.
