You can keep the phone from going to the "Activate / Emergency" screen by programming any phone number into the NAM. You can do this with service software such as CDMA Workshop, etc........OR.......you can do it manually by dialing **772 and entering a MDN and MIN there. Each should be 10-digits like a phone number, but doesn't actually need to be any real phone number. They can be the same or different. After you do this, your phone will believe it has been activated and provisioned, and you will not longer go to the activation screen.

Woah...really? Thanks randomwit, I've been looking for a solution to prevent the activation screen from presenting itself at startup on a Fascinate that I use as a media player. I'll give that a try!
