is it possible to unhide the shutter sound toggle in android 5.1.1 using root WITHOUT changing the device status from official?

Which phone do you have? Which variant? Sometimes using "enforced stream silencer" (just Google it) will work. Make sure that it is legal where you are, to remove the shutter

I use a third party camera app (CameraMX) instead of the default camera app, which allows you to toggle the sound.
